Limited Brands encourages all associates to be a "source for good" in the communities where they live and work. The Giving Tree program provides such an opportunity for all associates within the Limited Brands family, both in our home office communities as well as in our stores across the country, to do just that by connecting them to the needs of children and families within their local communities.

The program runs during the holiday season to provide gifts to children and families at area shelters and United Way agencies in our home office communities of Columbus and Kettering, Ohio; New York City; and Rio Rancho, N.M. Our store associates also have the opportunity to partner with the National Domestic Violence organization to adopt a family or persons in need through local shelters.

In addition, all store locations receive the resources needed to run the Giving Tree program in the spring to provide needed items to mothers in shelters and as gifts from their children on Mother's Day.

In 2009, approximately 30,000 lives were touched through the program during the holiday and Mother's Day seasons, bringing the total number of lives touched over the past several years to more than 100,000.
