Limited Brands Becomes a GreenSpot Member

COLUMBUS, OH (Dec. 17, 2008) – Limited Brands (NYSE: LTD) officially became a member of Mayor Michael B. Coleman's GreenSpot program this month. The program, launched in July, was designed to inspire, educate and recognize those businesses, residents and community groups in the Columbus area who are committed to sustainable practices.

"I am proud to welcome Limited Brands to the GreenSpot program," said Mayor Michael B. Coleman. "GreenSpot is all about saving your bottom line while saving the planet, which is something Limited Brands understands."

To be eligible for a GreenSpot, Limited Brands committed to a variety of green efforts over the next year. These commitments fall into six categories including: inform/engage, recycling, water conservation, landscaping, energy and transportation.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Mayor's GreenSpot program," said Greg Cunningham, associate vice president of environmental health and safety, and environmental stewardship for Limited Brands. "Not only does the initiative help keep us motivated in terms of our environmental commitment, but it also encourages the community to take an active role as well."
